What is Electric Bloom Webzine?
Electric Bloom Webzine is an independent English-language publication covering Japanese music for a global audience. Publishing since 2011, we cover new releases, live shows, artist features, interviews, and international tours across genres from J-pop and J-rock to visual kei, idol, and hip-hop. Alongside this, we work to give Japanese artists a route to English-language audiences worldwide, connecting their work with listeners who might otherwise miss it.
Want to write for us?
We’re always looking for writers who know their area of Japanese music well and want to write about it. Visit our Join the EBW Team page for details on how to get involved.
