About HANA
Last updated:
HANA are a seven-member Japanese girl group formed through the audition project ‘No No Girls’, led by rapper and producer CHANMINA with BMSG founder SKY-HI. The line-up of CHIKA, NAOKO, JISOO, YURI, MOMOKA, KOHARU, and MAHINA debuted in 2025 under B-RAVE, with music issued through No Label Music and Sony Music Japan’s Mastersix Foundation.
Built around strong individual vocal identities rather than a uniform idol template, HANA combine J-pop, R&B, hip-hop, and dance-oriented production. Their formation process placed particular emphasis on performance, self-expression, and artists who had previously been told they did not fit conventional industry expectations, a theme that continues to shape the group’s public identity.
