KAF, who made her debut in 2018, has become one of Japan’s most prominent virtual singers. Operating under the banner of KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO, she has built a large domestic following with her emotionally rich voice and genre-spanning music. In 2022, she became the first virtual artist to headline and sell out Tokyo’s Nippon Budokan. In early 2024, she staged her first arena show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, where she introduced KAIKA—a parallel project in which she writes and composes her own songs, stepping out from behind the avatar to blur the line between digital and physical performance.
