In April MONO embarked on a 27-date European tour that wrapped up earlier this month which was followed by the news of a US tour in June that’ll take them to 16 states, and now the instrumental rock four-piece have announced they’ll be returning for a further 15 shows across Europe starting in Lithuania on October 21st and ending at Leeds’ Damnation Festival on November 7th.
Since their double album release ‘The Last Dawn/Rays of Darkness’ last year, MONO have seemingly toured non-stop, relentless in their intent of spreading their one of a kind sound that has put them at the forefront of the instrumental scene ever since their formation back in 1999. Their constant manipulation and pushing of boundaries within the post-rock genre has managed to pull in crowds worldwide, and with 2015 shaping up to be one of the band’s busiest years, it doesn’t look like MONO plan on slowing down any time soon.
Tickets for Damnation Festival and their London performance at Camden’s Electric Ballroom are now on sale. You can also pick up MONO’s 2014 albums ‘The Last Dawn‘ and ‘Rays Of Darkness‘ from Amazon.co.uk.
