the GazettE’s New EP ‘UGLY’ Debuts at #1 In Six European Countries

It’s only been just over a month since ‘DOGMA’ released in the UK and Europe, and now one of Japan’s best alt-metal units (arguably THE best), the GazettE, dropped their new EP ‘UGLY’ on November 18th, debuting at #1 on iTunes’ metal charts in six countries across Europe, including the UK.

Mastered by Ted Jensen, known for his work on thousands of albums including Green Day’s ‘American Idiot’ and Bring Me the Horizon’s ‘Sempiternal’, UGLY is comprised of completely new material and sees the band take a more aggressive turn. The EP also marks the 3rd movement in PROJECT:DARK AGE, an artistic venture with some of the top creative minds in Japan’s fashion, photography, sound, film, and stage industries.

the GazettE have also announced the 4th movement in the project titled ‘DOGMATIC DUE’, a 20-date nationwide live tour which starts December 1st and sees the band into 2016 wrapping up on January 24th.

UGLY is now available in high-res 24-bit exclusively on iTunes across Europe courtesy of JPU Records.
