Tokyo 3-piece Regal Lily have released their 2nd full album Living things as C, the band’s first album release since their breakthrough 2020 LP bedtime story.
The C standing for carbon, an element that can turn into graphite or diamonds depending on its arrangement, Living things as C explores how people change themselves in a similar way, depending on their environment and connections, and how you can’t shine like a diamond without polish.
As well as the release of the new album the band also dropped their latest video for Planet Trash, a bittersweet love song in Regal Lily’s now trademark heavy rock sound spun with cold yet true-to-life lyrics delivered by vocalist and guitarist Takahashi’s innocent and emotional voice.
The new LP also includes their 2021 singles, Alchemilla, center lane, and Reach in the wind (one of our favourite singles of 2021)
