Paledusk have been bending the metalcore mould since their 2020 EP Happy Talk and their new single SLAY!! has taken the band’s mould braking mentality to another level.
Featuring rapper Hideyoshi, SLAY!! is an amalgamation of peppy technical melodies, chugging metalcore riffs, jazzy saxophones, and smooth rap. It’s a chaotic combination that has made for one of the most creative genre blending bangers we’ve heard in a long time.
The Fukuoka quintet have been making their mark on Japan’s heavy music scene with both their truly unique sound and style, supporting metal main stayers like Polaris, The Amity Affliction, and Alpha Wolf on their Japan tours.
In 2020 they signed with Australian label Greyscale serving as the label’s first international signing. The following year they dropped 3 singles WIND BACK, BLACK ICE, and TOPPA.
On February 20th the band will be playing their first ever one-man show at Shibuya’s clubasia.
