SiM have released the full digital version of their worldwide hit single The Rumbling.
Used as the opening for the long awaited final season of Attack on Titan, The Rumbling has seen massive success across the globe with the initial TV size release gaining over 2.5 million listens on Spotify and over 30 million views on YouTube. It also reached #3 on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart and #1 on the US Billboard Hot Hard Rock chart.
Formed in 2004, the Kanagawa reggae metal unit have been one of the top bands of Japan’s alternative rock scene. In 2020 they released their latest album THANK GOD, THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF WAYS TO KiLL ENEMiES which hit #2 in the Oricon weekly album rankings upon release.
Earlier this year the band moved labels from Universal Music Japan to PONY CANYON. In a statement by frontman MAH he said that the move would “Let me do what I want to do more than ever! That’s why we transferred labels.”
In addition to the digital release of the single SiM also dropped a teaser for the upcoming music video on their official YouTube channel.
