On February 25th WEDNESDAY CAMPANELLA released not one, but two videos, for new double single Maneki Neko / Edison.
Despite original singer KOM_I’s departure in late 2021, the group seem to be going from strength to strength with new vocalist Utaha.
Both tracks give us more of what we expect from the electronic J-pop act, with clean vocals, catchy melodies, and fun videos to boot.
Maneki Neko features a sweet and easy to sing along with chorus, simple instrumentation and heavy bassline running throughout. Edison is a cute and fun dance track, with high pitched synth vocals layered over a classic club beat and a chance for Utaha to show off her singing and rapping talents.
WEDNESDAY CAMPANELLA will be holding a release event entitled LET’S PARTY2 at Shibuya’s clubasia on April 6th.
