Hitsujibungaku released their new single OOPARTS ahead of their 2nd major label album our hope due for release on April 20th.
A gentle yet powerful track, OOPARTS adds to Hitsujibungaku’s traditional rock formula by being their first song to incorporate synths.
our hope will contain 12 tracks including the theme song to the 2021 animated film The House of the Lost on the Cape, and the opening of the TV anime The Heike Story.
The limited edition Blu-ray release will contain a live video from the band’s solo performance at the now closed USEN STUDIO COAST in Tokyo last September.
Formed in 2011 as a cover band, they made their major debut with the album POWERS in 2020.
In May Hitsujibungaku will begin their nationwide OOPARTS tour starting at Sendai PIT and ending at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo.
