DIR EN GREY are set to make their return to Europe in 2024 with their ‘EUROPE TOUR24: FROM DEPRESSION TO ________’. This marks the band’s first European tour in four years.
Commencing on March 19th in Warsaw, the tour will cover a total of 9 shows in 4 countries: Poland, France, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
Known for its focus on specific albums or eras of DIR EN GREY’s discography, the ‘FROM DEPRESSION TO ________‘ tour series, which originally graced the stages of Japan from 2016 to 2017, is now making its way to Europe. This time, the band will be presenting their iconic 5th album ‘Withering to death.’ and genre-defying 7th album ‘UROBOROS’. Both albums will be performed on consecutive nights in nearly every city.
Formed in 1997, DIR EN GREY have consistently pushed the boundaries of their visuals and sound, evolving their genre-fusing style with each album. With intense stage presence and a dedicated global following, they’ve remained a pioneering force in Japan’s metal scene for over 25 years. In turn, their stage performances have become iconic for their striking imagery and symbolic storytelling, mirroring the band’s sonic progression.
