Renowned Japanese post-hardcore and shoegaze trio, MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS, or Masudore for short, have revealed the dates for their first ever European tour scheduled for March 2024.
Known for their tightly woven, guitar-driven sound and harmonious pop vocals, Masudore gained global recognition with their self-titled debut album in 2008. After a brief hiatus, they made their triumphant return in 2015, cementing their unwavering cult status with the release of ‘No New World’ in 2018.
In 2022, the band made their inaugural appearance on the UK stage at the ArcTanGent Festival. Their vibrant, high-energy performance defied all expectations, with some describing it as an “explosion of youthful exuberance”. They quickly became one of the festival’s standout acts among festival attendees and critics.

Now, two years later, Masudore is gearing up for an extensive European tour, featuring 14 shows across the continent, including five stops in the UK: London, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, and Bristol.
Later this month, they embark on their 14-date debut North American tour, featuring sold-out shows in prominent cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Washington DC, and New York. This significant milestone became possible thanks to a highly successful crowdfunding campaign, which quickly surpassed the band’s initial £2,500 goal, raising over £45,000 in total.
