Singer-songwriter AiNA THE END has revealed her latest single, ‘Diana’ (titled ‘Delicate Heart’ in Japan). The song also features as the theme for new Netflix reality series ‘Love Like a K-Drama’.
The heartrending ballad, released on November 28th to coincide with the series’ premiere, was written and composed by AiNA, with arrangement by Shingo Suzuki. The song skillfully captures the frustration of failing to convey sincerity.
To commemorate the release, she debuted a 20-minute studio live video on her official YouTube channel the same day. Titled ‘AiNA THE END – Room Session -‘, the video showcases special renditions of her 2023 singles, including ‘Diana’, ‘Red:birthmark’, ‘irreplaceable days’, and ‘The Spell’.
Adding to her achievements, AiNA recently secured the Rookie Award at the 48th Hochi Film Awards for her lead role in the film ‘Kyrie’, directed by Shunji Iwai. Expressing her gratitude, she remarked, “I never expected to receive such a wonderful award in my life”. The awards ceremony is scheduled for early December.
This year has been pivotal for AiNA THE END, highlighted by her role in the first-ever Japanese adaptation of the Broadway musical ‘A Night with Janis Joplin’, participation in the inaugural ‘WACK in the UK’ event in London, and the disbandment of the group BiSH, of which she played a pivotal role since its formation in 2015.
