Ryo Kinoshita’s experimental metal project, Knosis, have just released their second EP, ‘THE ETERNAL DOOM’, along with their first ever music video for the intense ‘Yakusai’ (‘Disaster’).

The 3-track EP delves into the battles and conflicts within oneself, exploring the abyss in a direct and introspective manner. Influenced by science fiction and shooting games, ‘THE ETERNAL DOOM’ explores new dimensions of heavy music by fusing industrial metal’s mechanical tones with influences from 90s and 00s extreme metal, nu metal, metalcore, and screamo.

The music video for ‘Yakusai’, directed and edited by Takasuke Kato, with cinematography by Shun Murakami, echoes the track’s theme, portraying a journey through the deepest recesses of the mind.

Knosis are wrapping up their European/UK tour supporting American hardcore punk band Stray From The Path. The tour kicked off on October 26th in Berlin, Germany, and spanned various cities, including London, Paris, and Barcelona.

Formed in 2022 by former Crystal Lake vocalist Ryo Kinoshita, and Survive Said The Prophet frontman Yosh, Knosis have been making waves in the metal scene, pushing boundaries and evolving the genre.
