Japanese rock veterans MUCC will wrap up their impressive 25th-anniversary year by releasing their latest album, ‘Timeless’, on December 28th.
The album, consisting of 12 tracks, features six exclusive singles available only during their 25th Anniversary ‘Timeless’ tour. It also includes four re-recorded tracks from albums performed during the tour, a split single with Visual Kei duo deadman, and their newly released single, ‘Timeless’.
MUCC revealed the album’s jacket art alongside new artist photos taken in their hometown of Ibaraki. The music video for the new single will premiere on MUCC’s official YouTube channel on November 26th.
In conjunction with the album release, MUCC will host a festive series of in-store events across six locations in December. Band members, dressed as Santa Claus, will connect with fans through personalised signed goods, handwritten Christmas cards, handshake sessions, and photo opportunities.
To complement the album, MUCC will release the special edition ‘MUCC Fukyū’ anniversary book on the same day. This comprehensive book documents MUCC’s journey, featuring photos, interviews, and exclusive content from music magazines Ongaku to Hito and PHY.
Contributing to the celebration, the video collection ‘MUCC Live Chronicle 5 25TH ANNIVERSARY Volume 1’ will release on February 14th, 2024, capturing pivotal moments from their 25th-anniversary year. This collection includes six selected live videos, highlighting impactful performances, including their first live show post-coronavirus restrictions. Exclusive pre-orders for members of the band’s fan club begin on December 1st.
