The latest track by rock supergroup THE LAST ROCKSTARS—comprising YOSHIKI, HYDE, SUGIZO, and MIYAVI—has been unveiled as the official image song for Bandai Namco’s upcoming Tekken 8.
Announced and performed for the first time on November 21st during THE LAST ROCKSTARS’ live show ‘The 2nd Tour 2023 “PSYCHO LOVE”’ at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, ‘MASTERY’ was crafted specifically for the game, and encapsulates the essence of Tekken’s intense battles and emotional narratives, featuring a dynamic fusion of aggressive guitar riffs, powerful vocals, and cinematic piano.
Scheduled for release on January 26, 2024, Tekken 8 boasts a significant legacy with over 30 years in the gaming industry and sales exceeding 55 million copies worldwide. This collaboration strives to forge history by seamlessly amalgamating the strengths of gaming and rock music.
