MIYAVI has surprised fans by unveiling plans for two original albums scheduled to be released in 2024. The revelation took place during his 2-day 20th-anniversary commemorative live event, ‘MIYAVI 20th & Beyond – Extra -‘, held at YOKOHAMA Bay Hall on December 26th. Details regarding the albums are yet to be disclosed.
As a preview, his upcoming single ‘Broken Fantasy’ will be available on streaming platforms starting February 4th. The track will not only showcase MIYAVI’s distinctive guitar-play, but also introduce a fresh dimension to his vocal work.
This announcement follows the recent news that MIYAVI’s latest track, ‘Running In My Head’, has been chosen as the opening theme for the newest instalment in the CODE GEASS series, titled ‘CODE GEASS Rozé of the Recapture’. Part of the ‘CODE GEASS Next 10years Project’, the 4-part series is scheduled to premiere in May 2024.
