Osaka’s viral metallers, DEVILOOF, have dropped the title track from their upcoming EP ‘Song For The Weak.’.

The band’s major 2nd EP, set to release on January 24th, showcases the intense musical style DEVILOOF is known for. The EP’s theme revolves around the rebellious essence of rock and roll, with frontman Keisuke drawing inspiration from his upbringing, assuming the role of a spokesperson standing against adversity.

DEVILOOF’s reputation for pushing musical boundaries is evident in their incorporation of various underground elements such as deathcore, slam, brutal death, and grindcore.

In addition the the EP’s release, the band’s ‘SONG FOR THE WEAK’ one-man concert will take place at Tokyo’s Daikanyama UNIT on February 11th. Back in November, DEVILOOF’s bassist, Daiki, shared his thoughts on the show’s announcement with fans via his X (Twitter) account.

In April of this year, we held a one-man show at Shibuya QUATTRO. Until the day arrived, I was incredibly anxious, but many people came, and we were able to deliver the best performance. However, DEVILOOF must continue to move forward.

That’s why I believe this one-man show at UNIT is the day when DEVILOOF’s true abilities will be put to the test.

On January 8th, 2024, in their hometown of Osaka, DEVILOOF successfully hosted their inaugural self-organised one-day festival, ‘DEVIFEST 2024’. The event boasted a stellar line-up of Japan’s top underground metal acts, including Crystal Lake, Sex Machineguns, Dexcore, and more.
