Japan’s post-hardcore legends, SHADOWS, have joined the CAFFEINE BOMB ORGANICS roster, announcing a new album is in the works and slated for a summer 2024 release, marking their first in six years. Plus, supporting members Hayato (Bass/Vocals) and Ryo (Drums/Vocals) have transitioned into permanent members of the SHADOWS lineup.
The founding members of SHADOWS first gained recognition as part of FACT, a key figure in Japan’s alternative music scene in the mid to late 2000s. FACT debuted globally on the prestigious American label VAGRANT, and went on to showcase their sound around the globe on international tours and big name festivals such as SXSW, Warped Tour, and Sonisphere, before unexpectedly disbanding in 2016.
CAFFEINE BOMB ORGANICS, subsect of the CAFFINE BOMB RECORDS family steered by label president MOPPY, boasts a lineup featuring prominent bands like HEY-SMITH and Dizzy Sunfist. Exhibiting a profound passion for indie bands spanning diverse genres, the label’s distinctive approach underscores their personal connections within the street-based music culture.
