The performance video for the latest YOASOBI single, ‘HEART BEAT’, created as part of the annual NHK TV program ’18Fes’, has been released on NHK’s official YouTube channel. The event, which premiered on December 26th, saw the J-pop superduo collaborate with 1000 eighteen-year-olds from across Japan to collectively craft a song centered around the theme of ‘heartbeat’.
Portraying the emotional atmosphere of the one-time event, the performance video showcases the synergy between YOASOBI and the participants. ’18Fes’, a hallmark NHK program, invites a selected artist each year to join forces with a thousand eighteen-year-olds, resulting in the creation of a unique and resonant song. The single serves as a poignant testament to the power of shared creativity and the unique voice of the younger generation.
