Crossfaith, the powerhouses of Japanese metalcore, have unleashed their latest sonic onslaught with the release of ‘ZERO’, their first single since 2022. The new single also marks the band’s major re-debut under Warner Music Japan.
A fusion of their trademark aggressive style and infectious party vibes, ‘ZERO’ delivers goosebump-inducing perfection through intense beats, and killer riffs.
In tandem with the release, Crossfaith proudly announced the official addition of former HER NAME IN BLOOD guitarist Daiki Koide to their lineup. Having supported the band as a guitarist for the past 7 months, Daiki now steps into the role as a permanent member, filling the spot left vacant by Hiroki Ikegawa’s departure last month.

Expressing his gratitude, Daiki shared a heartfelt statement, recounting his journey and the pivotal role Crossfaith played in reigniting his passion for music following the disbandment of his previous band.
“Since July 2022, I have been playing on many stages with Crossfaith as a support member, and I am delighted to announce that I have officially joined Crossfaith as a guitarist.
I have known Crossfaith members for more than 10 years now, since I was a part of my previous band, HER NAME IN BLOOD.Back when my own band broke up, I was struggling and seriously thought if I should stop pursuing a music career. However, Crossfaith was the one that reached out to me and brought me back on the stage. We have been making music and performing together on the same stage for a while, and I always felt like I was part of the band, but officially being the member now, I am ready to go all out without holding back.
Everything I want to express will be poured into our new music. I am very excited to be able to express myself through music again. Please keep supporting us.”

Additionally, Crossfaith shared an official statement on their Twitter:
“Today we welcome our new guitar player, Daiki Koide! Daiki has been a good friend of ours for many years and not only is he a fantastic guitar player, he is also a great song writer. Daiki has been playing as support guitarist in the last 7 months and he is joining the band as official member from now on.”
Crossfaith’s announcement coincides with their ‘-Departure-’ tour, a nationwide journey themed around fresh beginnings. Featuring guest support from Maximum the Hormone, THE ORAL CIGARETTES, Harukamirai, and Ling Tosite Sigure, the tour culminates with a grand finale on February 18th in Tokyo, where California metalcore outfit Of Mice & Men will join them on stage.
