MY FIRST STORY and HYDE have joined forces to create the opening theme for ‘Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc’. Titled ‘Mugen’, the track has been chosen to set the tone for the new series, scheduled to premiere on Fuji TV this spring.
The legendary collaboration, proposed by ufotable, aims to encapsulate the enduring conflicts between the Butterfly Mansion, Demon Slayer Corps, and Muzan Kibutsuji through another high-energy rock anthem, characteristic of the series.
In a comment about the song, MY FIRST STORY frontman Hiro expressed his joy, stating:
“I am genuinely delighted to be involved in the work as the opening song. Singing the song ‘Mugen’ alongside HYDE-san, who is not only our mentor but also a kind senior, for the globally beloved ‘Demon Slayer’, fills me with the desire to enhance and elevate this work even more. I put my heart and soul into it, so please listen to it along with the work.”
