Japan’s pop and dance marvels, ATARASHII GAKKO!, are set to embark on their first-ever headline world tour across Europe and Asia this summer. Fresh from a sold-out Budokan Arena performance, the group will make their live debut on UK soil.
Since their formation in 2015, ATARASHII GAKKO! have been redefining the girl group genre, with their pioneering approach that blends modern J-Pop, Showa-era kayokyoku, rap, and punk. Viral tracks like their hit single ‘OTONABLUE’, with over 3.3 billion views on TikTok, have propelled them to global notoriety.

Before the tour, the group will hit the US for performances at Coachella in April and Head in the Clouds in May. As part of their 7-date European leg, London fans can catch them live at Indigo at The O2 on June 10th, marking a monumental moment for both the group and their dedicated fanbase.

Additionally, ATARASHII GAKKO! have released their theme song for the Japanese release of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, produced by yonkey, the mastermind behind ‘OTONABLUE’. The theme features a bold reinterpretation of the iconic Ghostbusters anthem, with choreography by the group themselves.
