Hatsune Miku, the iconic virtual singer, is set to embark on her MIKU EXPO 2024 Europe tour, marking the 10th anniversary of the renowned concert series. Among the tour’s stops, MIKU EXPO will return to London for the third time for her biggest event in the city yet at Wembley Arena.

The MIKU EXPO tour, powered by Crunchyroll and Crypton Future Media, will also feature five shows in cities across Europe, including Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, and Berlin.

Hatsune Miku’s unique appeal stems from her origins as a VOCALOID voice synthesiser developed by Crypton Future Media, INC., enabling users to create music using computer-generated vocals. Since then, she has evolved into a cultural phenomenon which has inspired significant pop-culture movements such as V-tubing, as well as influencing many of Japan’s top artists of today, including Ado, Eve, YOASOBI, supercell, and many more.

In addition to her European tour, MIKU EXPO will hit the road for an extensive North America tour this April, which will include an appearance at Coachella 2024. Making her debut at the renowned festival, Miku’s presence underscores the global impact of J-pop and virtual performers.

The MIKU EXPO tour series celebrates the creative community surrounding Hatsune Miku, which brought the virtual star to life with user-generated music, animations, and memes based on the titular character. Some of this content has gone on to garner millions of listeners on various video and music streaming platforms, becoming cultural anthems in their own regard.

Taking place on October 26th, general ticket sales for the London concert will commence on Friday April 5th at 10am. A pre-sale for OVO Live members will begin a day earlier, on Thursday, April 4th.
