New generation visual kei metalcore unit JILUKA are set to kick off their 2024 ‘K4RMA’ world tour this summer, marking their first-ever global tour.
Commencing on June 1st at Akabane ReNY alpha in Tokyo, the 13-date tour includes a European leg starting June 20th with headline shows in Poland, Slovakia, Germany, France, and the UK, before performing at Resurrection Fest in Spain and Portugal’s EVIL LIVƎ Festival. A single show in Los Angeles, USA, has been announced for July, but no exact date or venue has been disclosed yet.
The tour will wrap up with finale shows in Tokyo and Osaka in July and August.
Since their formation in 2013, JILUKA have undergone a musical evolution, transitioning from visual kei djent-core to pioneers of visual kei modern metal. In 2019, they ventured into bold territories with their daring cover EP ‘Polyhedron’, featuring a metal rendition of the hit song ‘U.S.A.’ by Da Pump.
Known for their blend of hallmark visual kei aesthetics and electronicore/metalcore sound, JILUKA have garnered a dedicated fanbase worldwide. With influences ranging from X JAPAN to Mötley Crüe, the band have enjoyed a wider appeal among general metal enthusiasts across the globe.
In October, YouTuber Nik Nocturnal dubbed JILUKA’s breakdown on their latest single ‘VENΦM’ as “the heaviest breakdown of the year”.
Tickets for the European leg are currently available, including general admission, early entry, and VIP upgrades.
