East of Eden release single ‘Chasing The Moon’ ahead of new EP

All-female rock group East of Eden released their latest single ‘Chasing The Moon’ on June 5th, along with a live music video.

The song is a motivational heavy rock track with metal elements. Ayasa’s violin intertwines with Yuki’s guitar, creating the feeling of a twin-guitar song, while Minato Akane’s powerful voice breaks through the instrumentation. The lyrics were penned by Japanese-American singer-songwriter Nana Hatori, who has previously worked with artists such as L’Arc~en~Ciel, VAMPS, and LOVEBITES, as well as on tracks for the Sonic the Hedgehog and Love Live franchises.

‘Chasing The Moon’ also received a music video which features both live and behind-the-scenes footage of East of Eden. The video was produced by Limitmaker Film who have previously worked with East of Eden, as well as groups such as Unholy Orpheus, NANIMONO, and Gacharic Spin.

This single release comes ahead of the band’s 2nd mini-album ‘Forbidden Fruit -2nd piece-‘, releasing on July 24th. It will feature 5 songs, including ‘Judgement Syndrome’, and will receive multiple CD versions which are now available for pre-order.
