HEY-SMITH to bring legendary ska-punk to Australia on debut tour

HEY-SMITH announce debut Australian tour, bringing Osaka ska-punk down under

Ska-punk legends HEY-SMITH have announced their debut Australian tour set for November 2024. The tour will feature four shows along the east coast, finishing with a headline performance at the Ska Nation International Music Festival.

The 4-date tour kicks off on November 27th at The Gov in Adelaide, followed by The Brightside in Brisbane on November 28th and The Factory Floor in Sydney on November 29th. The final show will be a headline slot at the Ska Nation Festival in Colac on November 30th. Joining HEY-SMITH on the tour are Californian ska-punk band Voodoo Glow Skulls and Melbourne’s The Resignators.

HEY-SMITH, formed in Osaka in 2006, are known for their high energy live performances and relentless tour schedule. Originally debuting with the mini-album ‘Proud and Loud’ in 2009, the band has since released nine albums. Their latest, ‘Rest in Punk’, debuted in November 2023, featuring 11 scorching tracks including ‘Be The One’, ‘Fellowship Anthem’, and ‘Inside Of Me’. This album also features ‘Say My Name’, the ending theme song for the TV anime Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on June 20th.
