lynch. go ‘EXCENTRIC’ with lead single for 20th anniversary release ‘FIERCE-EP’

Metal veterans lynch. will release their latest EP, ‘FIERCE-EP’, on June 26th. This new EP follows their March 2023 album, ‘REBORN’, which marked the band’s first release since their brief hiatus that began at the end of 2021.

The lead track from the new EP, titled ‘EXCENTRIC’, was revealed with a powerful music video on June 14th. The video, set in a dilapidated building, sees the band embodying the “villain” described in the lyrics. This portrayal complements their intense and aggressive style, which lies at the core of the song’s theme of eccentricity. ‘EXCENTRIC’ introduces a new edge to their sound, featuring an rhythmic arrangement akin to rap metal.

Fronted by vocalist HAZUKI, lynch. blend heavy basslines with versatile rock melodies, creating a unique niche in the rock music scene. Returning from their hiatus in 2022, the band reclaimed the spotlight with a comeback performance at Nippon Budokan. Celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, lynch. continue their reign as staples of Japan’s metal scene with their powerful sound and intense stage presence.

To support the release of FIERCE-EP, lynch. will perform at 15 venues across Japan as part of their ‘TOUR’24 THE FIERCE BLAZE’ national tour. The tour kicks off on July 7th at Rensa in Miyagi and concludes at Tokyo Dome City Hall on September 4th.
