BMSG POSSE, made up of rappers under the BMSG label, have just unveiled the music video for latest single ‘MINNA BLING BLING’, which was released digitally on June 26th.
‘MINNA BLING BLING’ is the second single for BMSG POSSE, and is produced by MONJOE who has previously worked with acts such as Number_i, Reol, and Superfly. The track takes the boyband image and adds an edge with its rapping and the yelled chorus. Notably, each member is a rapper in their own right.
The group’s first single ‘Girlfriend’ was released back in May, and also recently saw its music video debut on July 12th. The song is produced by Chaki Zulu, well known within Japan’s hip-hop industry for founding the popular hip-hop collective YENTOWN in 2015. His previous collaborators include Awich, ANARCHY, and kZm.
As well as this, the group will release their 3rd single on July 31st titled ‘OVERDRIVE’. They will also perform at 2 major festivals this summer; ROCK IN JAPAN FES. and SUMMER SONIC.
About BMSG POSSE
BMSG POSSE comprises rappers under the BMSG label and management company. Rapper SKY-HI founded the company in 2020, and the name stands for “Be MySelf Group”. Also, the name has a double meaning, additionally standing for “Brave, Massive, Survive, Groove”. The aim was to create a company where artists could be themselves. BMSG POSSE formed in September 2022, but didn’t release their first official single until 2024. SKY-HI is joined by singer-songwriter Aile The Shota, rapper edhiii boi, rapper and singer Novel Core, and Filipino singer-songwriter REIKO. The group are also diverse with ages ranging from 17 to 37, and each member having a distinct vocal style.
