Codomo Dragon have just revealed the music video for the upcoming single ‘Dabi’. It will be released physically on July 17th, and is the band’s 24th single.
‘Dabi’ is a hard rock track with an undulating heavy beat and addictive guitar hook. The bridge and chorus are chantable and anthemic, with the chorus receiving a nice key change toward the end. The music video invites us into the life of a salaryman dealing with the tedium of office life, and the lack of a work/life balance. Additionally, as with all of their songs, ‘Dabi’ is written by Codomo Dragon vocalist Hayato.
Much like labelmates Royz’ latest single ‘VENOM’, ‘Dabi’ will receive 3 alternative CD releases. Type A and B are limited editions containing a bonus DVD; the former containing music videos and a making-of, and the latter with the music video shot from multiple angles. The third version will be the standard release. Moreover, each type will also include 2 randomly selected trading cards, plus an application card (only valid in Japan).
