ONE OK ROCK critique political climate with ‘Delusion:All’, theme song for ‘Kingdom 4’

ONE OK ROCK critique the tumultuous political landscape with their new single ‘Delusion:All’, released on July 12th. The track serves as the theme song for ‘Kingdom 4: Return of the Great General’.

‘Delusion:All’ marks ONE OK ROCK’s return to Shinsuke Sato’s ‘Kingdom’ series, following their earlier contribution with ‘Wasted Nights’ for the first installment in 2019. The new song is a driving rock anthem, characterised by its powerful choruses and stirring lyrics that hit on themes of disillusionment and skepticism towards societal and political systems.

Directed by London-based Japanese director Taichi Kimura, the music video aligns perfectly with the song’s thematic depth and intensity, portraying scenes of civil unrest juxtaposed with the indifference of the affluent.

Alongside the single’s release, ONE OK ROCK unveiled new artist photos taken in Japan by renowned street photographer Alan Schaller. Known for his distinctive black-and-white style, Schaller’s photos portray the band as political campaigners advocating for “ROCK”.

In May, ONE OK ROCK announced their ‘PREMONITION WORLD TOUR’, set to kick off in September with two monumental shows at Tokyo’s Ajinomoto Stadium. The tour will include stadium-sized shows across Asia and arenas in North America and Europe, their largest global tour yet.
