Phantom Siita announce debut album ‘Memories of a Girl’ and drop new single ‘Mashou Shoujo’

The Ado-produced idol group Phantom Siita have unveiled details of their debut album, ‘Shoujo no Hi no Omoide’ (Memories of a Girl), set for release on October 30th.

‘Memories of a Girl’ will feature seven tracks, including their previous singles ‘Otomodachi’ and ‘Just Wanna xxxx With You’. The album will be available in two editions: a regular edition and a limited “Video & Photobook” edition that includes a DVD, a 24-page photobook, and exclusive trading cards.

The album’s announcement coincided with the release of their latest single, ‘Mashou Shoujo’, written by Vocaloid producer Nakiso. The music video, now streaming on YouTube, shows the group in a picturesque garden, pursued by a mysterious figure. The tables turn when the girls chase him into the woods, transforming his head into a flower vase.

Phantom Siita, who debuted just two months ago, has rapidly gained traction with their unique “retro horror” aesthetic. Their second single, ‘Just Wanna xxxx With You’, has already garnered over one million views on YouTube and attracted a growing international fanbase.

The group’s members, Mona, Miu, Rinka, Hisui, and Moka, were selected from a pool of 4,000 auditionees and have been performing as the opening act on Ado’s nationwide tour. They are now preparing for their first solo concert, ‘Haine’, at Nippon Budokan on November 1st.

Commenting on the album, Mona expressed the group’s excitement, stating, “Our first album is a beautiful collection filled with both our charm and our darker sides. We poured our hearts into each track, and I hope it becomes a cherished memory for all of you.”
