TORO mark year of growth with 2nd album 幸です (Sachi desu)

Indie rock unit TORO have officially released their second album, 幸です (Sachi desu / I’m Happy), today, August 28th. The album is now available for streaming across major platforms.

Coming a year after their self-titled debut, ‘Sachi desu’ showcases TORO’s evolution over the past year—a period marked by lineup changes and high-profile festival appearances. The album features nine tracks that highlight the band’s distinctive rock focused style. Standout tracks include the pulsating, club-driven ‘BOW’, the nostalgic rock fist pumper ‘Shuchō’, and the Britpop-tinged ‘FEEL GOOD’.

Frontman Shuya Umeda commented on social media about the album’s creation, emphasising the band’s dedication to staying true to their roots.

“This album will pave the way for a new style of rock music. We locked ourselves away, not caring about what others think, and poured everything into creating it. I hope you enjoy it.”

The result is an album reflects TORO’s growth and reaffirms their commitment to revitalising rock music with a modern edge.
