L’Arc-en-Ciel return with first single in 3 years, ‘YOU GOTTA RUN’

L’Arc-en-Ciel have announced the release of their new single, ‘YOU GOTTA RUN’, their first in three years.

Set for digital release on October 19th, the new track is written by vocalist hyde, with bassist tetsuya handling the composition. ‘YOU GOTTA RUN’ will serve as the opening theme for the new arc of the popular anime series Beyblade X, which began airing in late 2023.

The single will make its debut during the broadcast of Beyblade X on October 18th, just before the official digital release.

Regarding the new single, L’Arc-en-Ciel shared their excitement, stating:

“We are honoured to be in charge of the new opening theme for Beyblade X‘s upcoming chapter. We believe we’ve created a fantastic song that perfectly matches the world of Beyblade X. Please enjoy it together with the opening animation.”

This is the band’s first release since 2021’s ‘FOREVER’, the second opening theme for the anime EDENS ZERO.
