HAZUKI, lead singer of Nagoya rockers lynch., has unveiled his latest solo MV ‘Ma no Yume’ (‘Demon’s Dream’). The track is taken from his upcoming album ‘MAKE UP ØVERKILL’, due for release on October 23rd. This is his 2nd solo album.
‘Ma no Yume’ sees HAZUKI take on a more jazzy, cabaret like vibe, complete with saxophone and a bouncy, upbeat sound. The track is oozing with a darkly seductive feel, with the lyrics featuring themes of control, lust, and temptation.
Additionally, the video mirrors those themes with shots of HAZUKI preparing for and performing at his own cabaret show. Notably, the band featured in the video are picked from other groups. HAZUKI noted in a post on X that “A special group of members came together for this music video!”; RAZOR guitarist Kouryu, BLVCKPHOENIX bassist OSCAR, and coldrain drummer Katsuma.

HAZUKI will also shortly embark upon a Japan nationwide tour titled ‘WAKE UP ØVERKILLER(S)’. Starting on October 22nd with a fan club only show at Shibuya Stream Hall, he will then hit 8 more venues before the tour final on December 10th at Zepp Shinjuku. Plus, the tour final is on HAZUKI’s birthday, and he has said that there are few tickets left for this date.
‘MAKE UP ØVERKILL’ is available to pre-order now via CDJapan, in both regular and limited editions. The limited edition features special packaging and includes a Blu-ray with live videos. Plus, HAZUKI has announced that he will be premiering the full versions of one track from the album each day on YouTube until October 15th.
