BTS’s Jin has released a new version of ‘Falling’ featuring ONE OK ROCK vocalist Taka.
The digital single, titled ‘Falling (feat. Taka)’, debuted today, November 26th, at 2 PM KST (5 AM GMT). Known in Japanese as ‘君に届くまで’ (‘Kimi ni Todoku Made’), meaning ‘Until I Reach You’, the track adds a fresh dimension to a song already celebrated as part of Jin’s debut solo album, ‘Happy’.
The first cut of ‘Falling’, co-written by Taka and ONE OK ROCK’s guitarist Toru, featured Jin delivering heartfelt vocals over a lush rock-pop arrangement praised for its intricate guitar work and expressive lyrics. This new single version incorporates Taka’s commanding voice, amplifying the song’s emotional impact.
BIGHIT MUSIC, the record label behind BTS, said in a statement about the release: “With the addition of Taka’s powerful voice, the song lets you feel the emotions of love in a new, deeper way”.
