Phantom Siita to hold first world tour ‘Moth to a Flame’ 6 months after debut

Ado-produced idol group Phantom Siita have announced their first international tour, Phantom Siita 1st WORLD TOUR “Moth to a flame”.

The tour, starting January 2025, comes just six months after the five-member “retro horror” idol group made their debut and follows their sold-out first solo concert, ‘Haine’, held on November 1st at Tokyo’s Nippon Budokan. The ‘Moth to a flame’ world tour kicks off on January 16th in Taipei and will take Phantom Siita through 15 cities across Asia, North America, and Europe, concluding in London on February 19th.

Ado, the creative force behind Phantom Siita’s visual and vocal style, shared her excitement for the upcoming tour, noting how rare it is for an idol group to embark on a world tour in their first year. She commented:

“The announcement of Phantom Siita’s 1st world tour is truly exciting. For their first tour to be a world tour is rare not only for idols but also for artists in general. The title, ‘Moth to a flame,’ translates to the Japanese expression ‘tonde hi ni iru natsu no mushi,’ meaning knowingly stepping into something dangerous. Some may see a connection between this meaning and the group’s current path. But Phantom Siita have that captivating quality, the essence of a true idol—someone you can’t help but reach out to, even if you know it’s risky. So, perhaps those watching from the other side of the screen will feel drawn in too. Please look forward to their bold and unconventional start.”

Phantom Siita also shared their enthusiasm for the tour, acknowledging the challenge of performing internationally for the first time. “It’s an unknown challenge”, they said, “but we hope to reach everyone around the world who has been supporting us. We can’t wait to showcase our ‘retro horror’ aesthetic”.

Since debuting, Phantom Siita have achieved rapid success, including performing as the opening act on Ado’s ‘Profile of Mona Lisa’ tour and releasing singles such as ‘Otomodachi’ and ‘Just Wanna xxxx With You’, which have drawn millions of streams on Spotify and YouTube. Handpicked from over 4,000 hopefuls, the five members—Mona, Miu, Rinka, Hisui, and Moka—have been hailed as a “heretical presence” in the idol world, drawing comparisons to moths rather than butterflies for their darkly alluring style. Blending beauty with a touch of horror, Phantom Siita invoke a sense of nostalgia and intrigue that has already won them a dedicated fanbase, aptly named Haine (French for “hatred”).

Additionally, On October 30th, Phantom Siita released their debut album ‘Girlhood Memories’, a seven-track collection that includes fan-favourite singles along with new material.
