KAMIJO adds South and North America dates to ‘-MASTERPIECE-‘ tour

Visual kei icon KAMIJO will bring his 2025 ‘-MASTERPIECE-‘ tour to fans in South and North America, with five dates announced for May following a 16-show run in Japan.

Titled ‘THE AMERICAS TOUR 2025 -MASTERPIECE-‘, these shows mark his first solo performances on the continents in a decade, continuing a year-long celebration of his 30th anniversary in music.

The first leg of the tour begins in Japan on January 18th in Kanagawa and wraps up on March 29th in Tokyo. On May 24th, KAMIJO kicks off the Americas tour in São Paulo, Brazil, followed by stops in Chile, Mexico, and the United States.

After returning from the Americas, KAMIJO will embark on the ‘KAMIJO PREMIUM TOUR 2025 -MASTERPIECE-‘, a double-feature series held in Kanagawa, Hokkaido, Fukuoka, Aichi, and Osaka, that pays tribute to two key phases of his career.

DAY 1: ‘LA REINE’ will be dedicated entirely to songs from LAREINE, the influential band that first brought KAMIJO to prominence. This will be the first time in nearly 20 years that LAREINE’s music takes center stage in a tour.

DAY 2: ‘LE ROI’ centers on his solo material, emphasizing the grandeur and reflective themes of the ‘-MASTERPIECE-‘ concept.

The tour wraps up with a grand final performance at Tokyo’s LINE CUBE SHIBUYA on July 18th, just before KAMIJO relocates to Los Angeles. The move signals a new creative direction, with plans to venture into film music and other projects.
