Key announcements from Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s “MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS” press conference
Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s Best Album ‘10’ Coming July 2025
On July 8th, 2025—the anniversary of their 2015 major debut—the band will release a career-spanning best album titled ’10’. Vocalist and guitarist Motoki Omori described the collection as a “milestone piece” and acknowledged the challenge of selecting tracks from their extensive catalogue, which includes 27 new songs released since entering Phase 2 in 2022. The album is a heartfelt thank you to fans for their support over the years.
Yamashita Pier to Host Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s Biggest Shows Yet
The anniversary celebrations will include Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s largest-ever shows, set for July 26th and 27th, 2025, at Yokohama’s Yamashita Pier. Expected to draw 100,000 attendees, these performances will revisit themes from past concerts like EDEN no SONO and NOAH no HAKOBUNE, making for a grand retrospective of the band’s live history.
South Korea Solo Headline Debut
On February 15 and 16, Mrs. GREEN APPLE will perform their first standalone concerts in South Korea at Seoul’s Tiger Dome, part of Korea University, one of the country’s largest universities. Guitarist Hiroto Wakai, who has been studying Korean, shared his excitement about the upcoming shows: “I visited Korea on my own earlier this year, and it’s a country that feels very close to me personally. I’m incredibly excited to have the opportunity to perform a live show there.” He described the performances as an important moment for the band, both personally and professionally.
Popups, Exhibitions, and a Documentary
Spring 2025 will see collaborations with venues like Harajuku’s UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE, featuring popup cafes and shops. Larger-scale events will follow in summer at locations such as MIYASHITA PARK in Shibuya and Fukuoka’s LaLaport shopping center. Later in the year, the MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS EXHIBITION will showcase costumes, production tools, and memorabilia from the past decade, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the band’s journey.
Additionally, their first-ever documentary, set for release in 2025, will offer an intimate glimpse into their creative process and behind-the-scenes moments from Phase 2.
BABEL no TOH Announced for Autumn/Winter 2025
A sequel to their 2023 Atlantis dome performances in Saitama, Mrs. GREEN APPLE revealed that BABEL no TOH will take place in autumn or winter 2025. Originally teased during the final moments of the two-day Atlantis event on August 13th, 2023, the latest announcement came with an eerie teaser video evoking H. P. Lovecraft and Dark Souls vibes.
While the venue and exact dates are yet to be confirmed, expectations are high. If Atlantis—which sold out both days and drew 70,000 attendees—is any indication, BABEL no TOH promises to be another monumental moment for the band.
In their closing remarks, the band emphasized their excitement for the anniversary year and hinted at even more surprises to come. Ryoka Fujisawa shared, “We’re planning activities for 2025 that will exceed this year in excitement, so please continue to follow us closely!”. Motoki Omori added, “Phase 2 is far from over. Beyond the best album, live shows, exhibitions, and international concerts, we still have unannounced projects in store”.
