Apex Legends Global Series tap SiM for official anthem ‘CHAMPiONS’

SiM have announced their upcoming single, ‘CHAMPiONS’, as the official anthem for the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Year 4 Championship.

The tournament will take place from January 29th to February 2nd at the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME stadium in Sapporo, with SiM set to perform the song live for the first time at the event on February 1st at 11am JST.

‘CHAMPiONS’ is a first for Apex Legends Esports, becoming the battle royale giant’s first-ever official tournament anthem, accompanying its season-ending championship. With esports and music increasingly overlapping, SiM’s involvement brings an added edge to the competition, which will see the world’s 40 best teams, including top squads from North America, EMEA, APAC North, and APAC South, competing for a $2 million (around £1.6 million) prize pool. The tournament will bring in over 30,000 fans, making it one of the biggest live events in ALGS history.

Fans can catch the band’s live debut of ‘CHAMPiONS’ in Sapporo, with tickets available for general admission, student discounts, and public viewing. The tournament will also be streamed live on YouTube and Twitch.

Apex Legends’ official channels will drop a sneak peek of the track next week.
