BE:FIRST score no.1 with ‘Spacecraft’ / ‘Sailing’ as world tour approaches

BMSG boyband BE:FIRST have secured another chart-topping release with their latest double A-side single, ‘Spacecraft / Sailing’, which debuted at no.1 on the Oricon daily singles ranking following its release on February 5th. The new single arrives just months ahead of their first-ever world tour, set to begin in April.

‘Spacecraft’ was originally created for BE:FIRST’s ongoing four-dome tour of Japan, BE:FIRST DOME TOUR 2024-2025 “2:BE”. Produced by SAS (INIMI), LOAR (INIMI), and BMSG CEO SKY-HI, the track’s unpredictable production and high-powered vocal performance encapsulate the group’s distinctive approach to dance music. The official music video, choreographed by group member SOTA, takes on a time paradox theme, featuring the group navigating across different dimensions with intricate choreography.

On the other side of the release, ‘Sailing’ serves as the ending theme for ONE PIECE LOG: FISH-MAN ISLAND SAGA. With members SOTA, SHUNTO, and RYUHEI contributing lyrics, the track leans into the anime’s themes of resilience and friendship, pairing a funk-driven beat with anthemic vocals. The accompanying music video features the group as musical pirates, incorporating subtle nods to ONE PIECE.

Alongside its digital release, ‘Spacecraft / Sailing’ was issued in three physical formats: a standard CD, a DVD or Blu-ray edition featuring the music videos, and a special ONE PIECE edition.

First-ever world tour begins in April

Building on their momentum, BE:FIRST will embark on their first world tour, titled ‘BE:FIRST World Tour 2025 -Who is BE:FIRST?-‘, starting April 22nd in Los Angeles. The tour will span 15 cities across North America, Europe, and Asia, including London, Paris, New York, and Bangkok, with performances in some of the most recognisable live venues in each region.
