JILUKA unveil ‘KVLT’, their 5th EGM single, marking 10th anniversary

JILUKA have just unveiled ‘KVLT’, their 5th EGM single, with the video dropping on February 7th, ahead of the single release on February 16th. This latest track also marks the band’s 10th anniversary.

‘KLVT’ is the band’s latest offering under their EGM (electro gothic metal) genre, combining elements of metalcore, goth, and electronic music. The track features an opening verse rapped by guitarist Sena. Throughout, we hear frenetic blastbeat drums from Zyean, screeching guitar from Sena, deep and heavy bass from Boogie, and screams, growls, and all round powerful vocals from Ricko. A huge dubstep breakdown punctuates the end of the song.

Having had an unprecedented sell out world tour in 2024 and a follow-up tour later the same year, the band created ‘KVLT’ while on the road. Producer Jeff Dunne, who has previously worked with bands like Knocked Loose, Crystal Lake, and Ice Nine Kills, worked on the production. He also produced JILUKA’s previous EGM singles.

JILUKA held a concert to commemorate the single’s release, titled NEW EGM LIVE “DOMINVNT”. The first show was held on February 8th at Yogibo META VALLEY in Osaka. A second show is scheduled for February 23rd at Shibuya VEATS. Tickets for Shibuya are available now via eplus, with an an opportunity to purchase tickets for overseas fans. Plus, limited CD copies of ‘KVLT’ will be available at the show.

Additionally, the band revealed their new looks, moving away from the sci-fi vibes of their previous look. This time, they lean into an almost vampiric, velvet-clad gothic visual.

As well as this, JILUKA’s fan club is now open, offering fans access to exclusive live shows, photos, and videos, early access to tickets, fan club-only merchandise, and a birthday message.
