MIYAVI announces North America tour ‘BROKEN FANTASY PART 1: LOST IN LOVE’

The samurai guitarist MIYAVI has announced his return to North America with a tour scheduled for May this year. The tour, titled BROKEN FANTASY PART 1: LOST IN LOVE, will hit 6 venues across North America.

Starting on May 7th, the tour will see MIYAVI visit Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, New York, Boston, and Toronto. This tour is in support of the first part of his 2024 2-part album ‘LOST IN LOVE, FOUND IN PAIN’. He announced the tour with the words “We make our own new fantasy”.

Older fans may know him as guitarist of visual kei band Dué le quartz, the Samurai Guitarist, and as an actor and model, but newer fans may now recognise him as a C-pop star. MIYAVI recently made his foray into Chinese pop, appearing on season 4 of Chinese reality show Call Me by Fire. He impressed with his performances, alongside EXILE AKIRA. The duo won the coveted title of “Singing Family”, a first time for Japanese artists.

Recently telling NIKKEI he wants to become a rock star in China too, MIYAVI has his sights set on global fame. His return to North America is something you won’t want to miss.

Additionally, MIYAVI is due to star in the upcoming buddy-cop action comedy movie The Wrecking Crew. He will be starring alongside Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Frankie Adams, and more.

Tickets for the tour go on general sale on February 13th at 1pm EST, and will be available via MIYAVI’s official website. Fan club pre-sale will be available from today, February 12th, at 1pm EST via the MIYAVI Discord server.
