YOASOBI announce UK live debut at Wembley Arena

YOASOBI have confirmed their first-ever UK show, set for the OVO Arena Wembley in London on June 8th.

The duo—composer Ayase and vocalist ikura—have seen a rapid rise to global recognition, led by their breakout hit ‘Idol’. The track spent 22 consecutive weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, became the first Japanese-language song to top the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, and has now surpassed 800 million streams.

Their UK debut follows a major year in 2024, which included a Coachella debut and a string of sold-out North American headline shows. In April, they released ‘E-SIDE 3’, their third English-language EP.

The Wembley date comes just two days after their European festival debut at Primavera Sound Barcelona on June 6th. Before heading to London, they’ll play Jakarta and Singapore as part of their “Chō-genjitsu” Asian tour. The duo will then return to Japan for their first-ever hall tour, a 39-date run stretching from July to November.

YOASOBI have built a reputation as one of Japan’s most in-demand live acts, launching their first nationwide arena tour, Denkosekka, in 2023, which drew 130,000 attendees across 14 shows.

Additionally, news of their UK debut comes after they were confirmed for matsuri ’25: Japanese Music Experience in Los Angeles, where they’ll share the bill with Ado and ATARASHII GAKKO! on March 16th at the Peacock Theater.
