Japanese alt-rock trio MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS will return this autumn for the MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS Europe Tour 2025, an extensive 22-date run across the UK and mainland Europe. Following their debut European run in 2024, which included multiple sold-out dates, the band will kick off in Brighton on October 4th and wrap up in Rome on November 2nd.
Leaning into a sound that fuses melodic punch with dense, guitar-driven heft, the Kobe trio—also known to fans as Masu Dore—have spent the past few years steadily expanding their reach outside Japan. They played to a sold-out crowd at their long-awaited London debut at EartH Theatre in 2024, a standout moment in the band’s steady rise beyond the Japanese underground.
MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS’s 2025 schedule features 11 UK dates, including stops in Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, and a headline appearance at London’s Electric Ballroom on October 15th. From there, the trio will travel through France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe, ending in Italy with performances in Milan and Rome.
Since reuniting in 2015 after a brief hiatus, Masu Dore have released two full-length albums—‘No New World’ (2018) and ‘Awakening:Sleeping’ (2022)—as well as a string of self-released demos. Led by founding member Natsuko Miyamoto, alongside guitarist Naoya Ogura and drummer Isao Yoshino, the band’s live shows—anchored by their heavy, no-frills DIY ethos—have earned them cult status both in Japan and overseas.
