ASP welcome new member from BiS and team with Age Factory on ‘Get New MIRAI’

vAlt-idol unit ASP have unveiled their new member, iKO MUGENNOKANATA, and released their first single under the updated eight-member formation. Titled ‘Get New MIRAI’, the track—produced by Nara alt-rock quartet Age Factory—arrived digitally on May 3rd, kicking off a new chapter for the WACK-signed act as they continue their Acid Suspicious Parental Tour across Japan.

iKO MUGENNOKANATA, previously of third generation BiS, was first teased as ASP’s new member during the final performance of the Could you still be WACKiNG TOUR in March, and formally revealed at the opening date of the new tour in Osaka on May 3rd. The addition follows the news in early March that NAMELESS would be going on hiatus due to health issues. While ASP now officially count eight members, current live activities continue with a seven-member lineup.

‘Get New MIRAI’ continues ASP’s rejection of conventional idol polish with a rock-driven production led by Age Factory, pairing urgent riffs with explosive vocals. Lyrically, the track is about sticking to convictions, stripped of ambiguity and hesitation, providing fans with an assertive start for the group’s updated lineup.

The group’s 19-date tour runs through July, with sold-out shows already logged in Osaka, Kyoto, and Yokohama. ASP will hold the tour final on August 15th at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in Tokyo.
