Survive Said The Prophet drop hard new single ‘Useless’ feat. Ryo Kinoshita from Knosis

Survive Said The Prophet have just dropped their latest single ‘Useless’ featuring Ryo Kinoshita (Knosis), along with a music video. The track released digitally across all major streaming platforms on May 28th.

The band have been playing ‘Useless’ at recent live shows, including through their 2024 US tour, and has evolved through each live performance. Raw, intense, and emotionally heavy, the track explores the internal struggles of frontman Yosh Morita; the fear and anxiety of feeling useless and broken. A cathartic song, Yosh’s feelings are screamed out, with the main chorus hook “I’ve been feeling useless, how do I get through this?”.

Ryo Kinoshita features on the track, bringing his ferocity to the emotional table. His deep, almost monstrous, screams balance Yosh’s hopelessness, and heighten the overall intensity of ‘Useless’.

About the single, Yosh says:

“Useless is exactly what it means, feeling worthless. No matter who you are, some people make you doubt all you’ve worked for, even after overcoming big challenges. This song expresses that anger, with the chorus showing what it feels like inside. It’s a very honest track based on my experiences. I’m excited it’s finally out. Fans have connected with it live, and I hope they feel that energy now.”

Plus, Survive Said The Prophet are about to head out on their European tour, starting on June 6th. The tour includes four festival appearances, including a slot at Download Festival, and two headline shows. Their London tour finale sold out within a week of tickets going on sale. General admission tickets for the Utrecht show are still available in limited quantities, while only four VIP tickets remain.

Both Yosh and Ryo also recently collaborated with Nik Nocturnal and MoistCr1TiKaL on the nu-metal single ‘All Wrong’. A Linkin Park inspired early 2000s romp, the track features MoistCr1TiKaL, Ryo, and Nik, while the video has cameos from Yosh.

‘Useless’ is available now across all major streaming platforms. Check out the video below.
