D’ESPAIRSRAY have confirmed details of their first headline show in nearly 15 years. The one-man, titled D’ESPAIRSRAY LIVE 2026 “RAPTURE”, will take place on May 4th 2026 at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo.
The announcement, made on September 9th, the anniversary of their formation, comes after the band revealed earlier this year that they will appear at CROSS ROAD Fest 2025 in Chiba this November, their first scheduled live performance since 2011.
Coinciding with the news of their headline return, the band have also made their back catalogue available for streaming worldwide. Releases are now live across platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music, with downloads available via iTunes and other stores.

D’ESPAIRSRAY’s official fan club [un]Beautiful will also relaunch on September 12th, offering members benefits such as priority tickets, birthday content, a digital card, and an annual newsletter.
Full ticketing details, including VIP and VVIP packages with exclusive items, have been published via the band’s official site. Fan club lottery pre-sales open on September 13th, followed by a second round in October. An official pre-sale covering both domestic and overseas fans will run from October 15th to 22nd, ahead of the general sale on November 16th 2025.
Earlier today, the four members—HIZUMI, Karyu, ZERO, and TSUKASA—appeared in an “emergency” livestream on their newly launched YouTube channel. The broadcast saw the group reflect on their history, and outline their next steps as a band. The channel also features several of their classic music videos, including ‘DEATH POINT’, ‘LOVE IS DEAD’, ‘FINAL CALL’, and ‘REDEEMER’.
Formed in 1999, D’ESPAIRSRAY held the same four-member lineup throughout their career, releasing four albums, three EPs, and thirteen singles before disbanding in 2011 due to vocalist HIZUMI’s health. Alongside building a strong domestic following, they became one of the few visual kei acts of their generation to tour extensively overseas, appearing at Wacken Open Air in 2006, Jrock Revolution in Los Angeles in 2007, and the Taste of Chaos tour across the US in 2008. Their Human-Clad Monsters world tour in 2010 took them through Japan, North America, and Europe. With their return beginning at CROSS ROAD Fest 2025 this November and continuing with their first one-man in May, attention will turn to whether the reunion could once again take them back to international stages.
