DIR EN GREY have confirmed that their 12th studio album, ‘MORTAL DOWNER’, will be released on April 8th, 2026. The announcement follows the band’s initial title reveal in December, with the record now confirmed to feature 13 tracks in total, including the 2024 single ‘The Devil In Me’.
Alongside the standard CD, ‘MORTAL DOWNER’ will be available in three formats, with the most expansive being the Complete Limited Production Edition. The three-disc set combines the 13-track album with live material including a full concert film.
The bonus CD features recordings from the band’s spring 2025 US tour, TOUR25 WHO IS THIS HELL FOR? [mode of VULGAR & Withering to death.], taken from shows at The Belasco in Los Angeles on April 8th and 9th, and House of Blues Anaheim on April 11th. The third disc is a Blu-ray or DVD capturing the complete TOUR25 EN’EN finale at Zepp Haneda on December 10th, 2025, which introduced three new songs from the album.
