The documentary film FACT THE END has landed on the JMS BASE YouTube channel, documenting the final chapter of Japanese post-hardcore band FACT.
The film begins with FACT’s return at REDLINE ALL THE FINAL in December 2024 and follows the band through to their last performance at ROCK-O-RAMA-THE END, the final edition of their self-produced one-day festival. Before arriving online, FACT THE END screened for one night only on December 23rd at kino cinéma Shinjuku in Tokyo.
Alongside interviews with the band themselves, FACT THE END features commentary from key figures across the loud rock scene. This includes members of Crystal Lake, Paledusk, The BONEZ, HEY-SMITH, dustbox and SHANK, all of whom supported FACT on their FACT IS LIFE TOUR 2025, the band’s final Japan tour in the lead-up to ROCK-O-RAMA-THE END.

Australian progressive rock band Closure in Moscow and British hardcore punk band Your Demise, the two overseas acts on the card, also feature in the documentary. Both bands first crossed paths with FACT while touring overseas.
The film also includes full live performances from FACT’s ROCK-O-RAMA-THE END set, featuring songs from across the band’s catalogue and concluding with their 2009 breakthrough single ‘a fact of life’.
FACT formed in 1999 and initially disbanded in 2015 following ROCK-O-RAMA 2015. After reuniting for REDLINE ALL THE FINAL, the band returned for a nationwide tour before bringing their story to a close once again with ROCK-O-RAMA-THE END in October at Makuhari Messe in Chiba.
